One thing to consider in alleviating the pressure of getting work done is by investing in an inverter, UPS, or a generator. But which one do you consider for your business needs? Neels Janse van Rensburg from NJR Solutions has shared a few questions that we should think about so that we can make the correct decision:

Which appliances do you need during load shedding?
Is it possible to reduce your demand or usage during load shedding?
Which are the essential appliances e.g. lights, tv, alarm?
Calculate the total load, look at the kw of each appliance and add it all up.
How many hours do you need these appliances for during load shedding?
Multiply the total kw with the total hrs.The total kw will determine which option you choose between a UPS, inverter, or generator.
