Daily Struggles of Veterinary Clients

Hi I am Neels from NJR Solutions.

Well maintained, properly functioning veterinary equipment is vital for the health and wellbeing of  your pets when you bring them to your local veterinary surgical practice. Just like any medical equipment, this needs to be well maintained, serviced as well as fixed by a professional who understands the job at hand and will ensure that the equipment is in proper working order when the job is done. At NJR Solutions we specialise in repairing and servicing veterinary equipment for our clients by trusted experts who are dedicated to getting your machinery up and running quickly and at a fraction of the cost of purchasing new equipment.

Did you know that one of the frequent problems that current and new clients contact me to fix is for leakages?

These can cause problems and lead to your patients waking up amid their operations. Here are some examples of leakages that I can and have fixed:

  1. An oxygen cylinder and regulator leakage can increase the oxygen consumption and is a dangerous fire hazard in the room. After close inspection, I found that the regulator was completely turned in, which allowed maximum pressure to the anaesthetic machine that caused the massive leakage. I managed to turn the pressure down and stop the leakage.
  2. On many occasions the seal on an absorber or soda lime canister has been lost or removed which is the cause of the leakage. The leakage normally influences the percentage of Isoflurane gas inhaled by your patient.
  3. When it comes to the patient circuit, I find that more often than not the breather bag is worn out or has been damaged. This is where the plastic pipes transport the Isoflurane and oxygen mixture to your patient. Loose connections on the anaesthetic machine can also be a cause.

Veterinary practices have contacted me to assist with problems that they have had with their machines as a result of poor servicing. One such example was poor servicing of an anaesthetic machine. It was serviced regularly, but the service provider could not fix the problems. The anaesthetic machine was poorly maintained, connections were glued together using outdated and bad sealing products, and the people doing the job had a bad attitude and were rude towards the client. NJR Solutions came through and assessed the damage, fixed it, and left the client with a positive experience of what we can do.

Are you looking for the correct parts for your machines, but your current service provider cannot find them?

Practice managers often contact me for parts for their dental equipment, breather bags, centrifuge chargers, oxygen CO2 sensors and many other parts. I will find the correct part for your machine that I source from my trusted suppliers.

No matter what the struggle is that you face, whether it be fixing a leakage, correcting or fixing a problem, or simply finding the correct part for one of your machines, NJR Solutions will find a solution. Give me a call on 081 283 7193 or send an email to neels@njrsolutionsinc.co.za to ensure that the equipment is in working order and leakage free.

With NJR Solutions, if you have a problem, I will find the solution.
